About Me

Hi!  My name is Jennifer and I run EducationGPS.org.

I  launched EducationGPS.org in 2018 when I realized how hard it is for parents to navigate through huge piles of often conflicting, tendentious and inpenetrable information about schooling.

My business is all about helping parents and guardians.  I answer your questions, provide advice and advocate for your kids at school.  I also provide parents with useful information — for example, these childcare report cards that make it easy to compare the quality of childcare providers in Sydney.  In short, I make my living by helping people like you get the best education possible for your kids.

My expertise as an educator (and my experience as a parent of two school-age girls) puts me in a particularly good position to help.  I have accumulated plenty of experience in education and teaching.  I’ve taught History and English at public and private high schools in Australia.  I’ve also lectured and tutored History at universities in the United States and Australia.

I hope you benefit from the information you can find on my website. If you have any comments, I would be delighted to hear from you. If you would like to receive any personalized advice, or benefit from any of our services, please get in touch.  Otherwise, check my trending section on educationgps.org for recent news and research on schooling and education in Sydney.  This is updated daily.

Thanks again,

Jennifer R. Uhlmann
